The purchase price is immediately due upon allocation of the horse / foal. As soon as the Seller has accepted the offer, the Buyer will receive an invoice with the amount to be paid and the details of the Seller.
Any liability with regard to the sold horses / foals is transferred to the Buyer 5 days after acceptance of the offer. The legal agreement lies directly between the Buyer and the Seller, with due observance that vis-à-vis the Buyer, not the Team Nijhof foal market 2024, but the Seller is liable for any shortcoming that the animals may display after the sale.
At the time of payment of the invoice amount by the Buyer to the Seller, the ownership of the horses / foals transfers to the Buyer.
After the total invoice amount has been transferred to the Seller's account number, delivery will only take place in consultation with the Seller. Transport costs outside the Netherlands are at the expense of the Buyer.
In principle, a foal is delivered after the foal has reached the age of 5 months. The Seller is obliged to leave a sold foal with the mother up to the age of 5 months without the Buyer being obliged to pay any compensation for this. Until the moment of actual delivery to the Buyer, the Foal remains at the expense and risk of the Seller.
When a foal is delivered in consultation that is younger than 5 months, the risk immediately transfers to the Buyer upon delivery.
Foals are at least good halter tame at delivery.
If the horse / foal is sold abroad, it must be accompanied by export documents approved by an NVWA veterinarian. The Team Nijhof foal market 2024 will provide these export documents. The costs are billed to the Buyer.
Neither the Seller nor the Buyer can derive any rights from the fact that the Team Nijhof foal market 2024 has selected the horses / foals and, if desired, they have been subjected to a veterinary examination.
